Quibdó fue de los lugares más golpeados por el sismo del 10 de agosto. La Casa Cultural Made in Chocó quedó destruida, junto con buena parte de su barrio: viviendas partidas por la mitad, manzanas enteras convertidas en escombros y equipos de rescate trabajando durante días entre las ruinas.Quibdó was among the hardest hit by the 10 August earthquake. Casa Cultural Made in Chocó was destroyed, along with much of its neighbourhood: homes split in half, entire blocks turned to rubble, and rescue crews working for days among the ruins.

Made in Chocó nació como colectivo en 2015 en Quibdó y se formalizó como corporación en 2019. Trabaja con fotografía, audiovisual, música, danza, muralismo y formación de jóvenes para que las comunidades del Chocó cuenten sus propias historias.Made in Chocó started as a collective in 2015 in Quibdó and became a formal corporation in 2019. It works with photography, film, music, dance, muralism and youth training so that Chocó's communities can tell their own stories.
Su trabajo es mostrar un Chocó que no se reduzca a la violencia, la pobreza y el abandono. Está dirigida por Leison Hachito.Their work is to show a Chocó that is not reduced to violence, poverty and neglect. It is led by Leison Hachito.
